Volunteer

Nunn Fire is a 100% volunteer department, and we are currently seeking volunteers for all positions — firefighter, EMT, driver, and support roles.

Who can apply

Applicants 21 and over

  • Must hold a current, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Must pass a background check

Applicants under 21

  • Must pass a background check
  • Must have their own vehicle with a clean driving record
  • Will be assigned a mentor
  • Will not drive district apparatus until age 21

Training

All recruits receive in-house training on daily operations and basic firefighting and medical skills. Additional opportunities are available for Firefighter I (FF1) and EMT certification.

What are you interested in? Pick as many as you like. No experience is required for any of them.
